Ashaway has enhanced its Power Filament Technology (PFT™) to create the SuperNick® ZX Micro, an 18-gauge (1.15 mm) squash string. This string features a multifilament nylon core wrapped in a Zyex® filament PFT wear layer. It is designed for precise touch while maintaining exceptional tension control. SuperNick ZX Micro is ideal for players seeking superior durability and tension stability without sacrificing the feel of a traditional nylon SuperNick string.
Since its introduction in late 2015, professionals like David Palmer, John White, and Mathieu Castagnet have quickly adopted Ashaway's PFT-based SuperNick ZX strings. Play-testers have noted that the SuperNick ZX Micro offers even more precise touch, along with better control and spin potential due to its thinner profile.
